What is a specialty show?
A "Specialty Show" is a well attended and importent event in any breed, and are offered in both the AKC & CKCSC-USA venues. These shows are designated just to their individual breed. Sponsored by different Cavalier clubs these shows draw large numbers of quality dogs by top breeders & exhibitors from around the country. Specialties are judged by knowledable breeder judges or respected toy & allrounder judges from all over the world. In essence, it's a competition of the Best of the Best judged by the Best. Consistent Specialty show wins are a highly desired endorsement, for any breeder, of a quality breeding program.
